About Air Ambulance Worldwide
Air Ambulance Worldwide was founded in 2004 and has become one of the premier medical evacuation providers worldwide. Our call center is staffed 24 hours per day and 365 days per year to respond to all urgent flight requests.
We have provided more than 7,400 air ambulance medical escorts and commercial stretcher transfers to every part of the world. AAW operates their own fleet of 6 jet aircraft based in Clearwater, FL. and Washington, PA.
The medical staff are all ICU/CCU qualified and trained, have completed flight physiology and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in their specialized field of care.
Dr. Richard Maenza is the Medical Director for Air Ambulance Worldwide and takes an active role in each and every case. A Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Dr. Maenza has been active in the air medical transport community since 1993.
AAW’s capabilities include basic life support cases through to the most complex and specialized medical treatment.
