About DRK Assistance
The German Red Cross Assistance is an unbound one-stop-shop assistance company, providing i.a. air ambulance, commercial escort, and ground transport. It is a sister company to the 1976 established German Red Cross Air Ambulance Service.
We offer a 24/7/365 hotline, staffed with English speaking long-standing medical coordinators only as well as multilingual doctors. We rely on highly qualified personal, as well as innovative software for dispatching and administration. As part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, we are bound to the humanitarian principles of the world’s largest charitable organization, strong compliance standards and benefit from a worldwide inner organizational network.
Air ambulance services
We offer worldwide out- and inbound ambulance flights and commercial escorts with nurse/paramedic and/or a medical specialist.
Ground ambulance transport
The German Red Cross has the largest ground transport capacities in Germany and is the national market leader in emergency medical services. We have the biggest fleet of dedicated repatriation vehicles and ambulances in Europe (700+), including over 50 Red Cross EMS vehicles in Austria and Luxemburg.
Assistance
We offer the full range of medical assistance services. We are experts of the German healthcare system and provide widely accepted GOPs. We offer hotlines, in- and outpatient assistance, medical contact, house calls, cost assumption, cost containment/case management as well as administrative and travel assistance.
