The German Red Cross Air Ambulance Service is repatriating exclusively members of the German Red Cross (GRC). For any request from non-GRC-members, the EURAMI certified German Red Cross Assistance (Link: https://eurami.org/provider/drk-assistance/) is the single point of contact.
More than 40 years of experience and dedication
The German Red Cross Air Ambulance Service was founded in 1976 as a medical assistance and repatriation service for red cross delegates around the world. Our goal is to cover the health of international Red Cross delegates on a mission and to support Red Cross members personally through repatriation insurance for themselves and their family members.
The German Red Cross Air Ambulance Service offers a 24/7/365 hotline for medical requests of entitled German Red Cross volunteers and employees, a medical case management and medical repatriations free of charge for members. Our Services include a Medical Operations Center staffed with English speaking long-standing medical coordinators only as well as multilingual doctors.
Today we are one of the oldest medical assistance Services in the world, and with more than 40 years of experience we have performed thousands of medical repatriations. As part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, we are bound to the humanitarian principles of the world’s largest charitable organization, strong compliance standards and benefit from a worldwide inner organizational network.
