HAC Medical was incorporated as an Air Ambulance service in 2014, in response to a need for a high quality Air Ambulance operation servicing Southern Africa’s remote wilderness areas. We strive to continue to be the region’s premier Air Ambulance service by delivering the most responsive, reliable and professional internationally accredited medical service to our patients and clients respectively. 

We employ only the most experienced staff, all registered with the Health Professionals Authority of Zimbabwe, as well as the Allied Health Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe, including ICU Nurses, pediatric ICU Nurses, Traumatologists, Military Combat Trained Medics, Ambulance Technicians, Emergency Medical Technicians, Registered General Nurses, Fire and Rescue Crew, Emergency Medical Dispatchers, ER Doctors and EMS Training Instructors. 

Our flight medical crew always consists of a fully qualified doctor and flight nurse, ensuring the best quality care available for any scenario that presents itself.   We run a fleet of 2 Fixed-wing aircraft dedicated to Air Ambulance services, a Beechcraft King Air 350 and King Air 200, with one aircraft always configured and immediately available for air ambulance service. These aircraft are specially configured for dirt landing strips common in remote areas and flown by an air crew of 2 type-rated, very experienced pilots, and ably supported by our flight dispatch team.

HAC Medical Call Centre operates 24 hrs a day with a total crisis team of eight dispatchers fully trained in medical air rescue procedures. Our Medical Director is on standby 24 hrs a day to manage efficient and successful Air Ambulance calls. 

HAC Medical also operates its own first aid training facility and ground ambulances. Additional medical services include: Medical Case Management, Medical Escorts, Inter-facility ICU Medical transfers and HEMS.
